Our mission: To make Austin the most affordable city in the United States.

We love Austin, Texas. In fact, lots of people love Austin. Because of this our beautiful capital city has doubled in size within the last two decades. Unfortunately, with growth comes great challenges. We find these challenges in many areas, including transportation, environment, housing, among others.

Our goal is help make sure our local government meets these challenges in sensible ways through proper management and growth structuring, without artificially increasing the cost of living.

All too often city governments and government officials abuse their authority through unnecessary or unfinished projects. Others are unqualified to manage the areas under their jurisdiction, resulting in wasteful spending. All of these lead to debt and result in a lower quality of life for everyone.

Affordable Austin is dedicated to tackling these and other issues that hurt the Austin citizen financially due to higher taxes, a declining economy, unnecessary regulations, and overall mismanagement.
